Vermont Ski Slopes

You'll love that sweet, sweet powder in Vermont. There are loads are beautiful ski slopes and lodges for you to enjoy in New England, and especially in Vermont.

Bolton Valley Ski (Bolton Valley) - With 43 runs, quad and doubles as well as snowmaking, a surface lift, rentals and school, there are plenty of wintertime activities to keep you busy. There are 652 miles of cross country skiing also.

Smuggler’s Notch (Jeffersonville) - With 5 double chairlifts, surface lifts, snowmakers and facilities for dining and childcare, Smuggler’s Notch has plenty to do. During the winter you can race down the 60 runs, explore the 25 miles of cross country skiing or go ice skating. Summer offers 10 swimming pools, 3 water slides, tennis, miniature golf and a driving range.

Killington Resort (Killington)- With over 200 runs, the longest of which is 10 miles, 30+ lifts, gondolas, rentals, patrols and snowmaking, this 1,100 acres resort offers tons of fun! Additional activities include tubing and snowboarding.

Burke Mountain Ski Area - Chairlifts, J bar, Pomalifts and lots of fun can be found as you rush down the 43 runs and a vertical drop of an impressive 2,000 feet. There are also
57 miles of cross country skiing.

Stowe Mountain Resort (Stowe)-A selection of chairlifts, mighty-mile hanging handle tows, nursery, cafeterias, restaurants, bar and entertainment that offer fun for the whole family; you will find 47 runs as well as night skiing. During the summer activities include swimming, mountain biking, gondolas, a skate park, fitness center, spa, recreation trail, tennis and golf.

Stratton Mountain (Stratton) - Passenger lifts, ski lifts, and a gondola provide access to 90 runs, 17 miles of cross country trails, and snowboarding adventure. From April to November there is horseback riding, tennis, golf, festivals, and concerts.

Mad River Glen Ski Area (Waitsfield)- Here you can ride America’s oldest single chairlift (recently restored), as well as 3 double, and 3 single lifts which take you to the 44 runs—the longest of which is 3 miles. The Glen does not manufacture snow, so availability is based on the weather.

Sugarbush Resort (Warren) - With more than 100 runs and nearly 2 dozen lifts, there is no shortage of winter activities. There is a concessions area, cafeteria, restaurant, bar, rental shop, school, and nursery.

Mount Snow Ski Area (West Dover)- With a vertical drop[ of more than 1,700 feet, over 100 trails and more than a dozen lifts, you can find plenty of action to keep you busy.
