Vermont State Parks

Woodford S.P. (Bennington) - Vermont’s highest park elevation (2,400 ft.) has 400 acres of outdoor adventure. You can go swimming, fishing, non-motorized boating, and walk the nature and hiking trails. There also trailer and tent campsites available.

North S.P. (North Hero)- At almost 400 acres, this waterside park has something for everyone. As you visit northern Lake Champlain, you can go swimming, fishing and boating on the shimmering lake, hike the trails, or watch the kids swing on the playground.

Button Bay S.P. (Vergennes) - For a panoramic view of the impressive Adirondack Mountains, visit this delightful 236 acre park on a ridge above Lake Champlain. While there you can get in touch with nature as hike the winding trails, attempt to catch the big one for fabulous fish stories, or set up camp for cooking and telling ghost stories around the fire. Also on site are a swimming pool, and a museum.

Molly Stark S.P. (Wilmington)- This 158 acre park on the western incline of Mount Olga. You can go fishing in the cool mountain lake, stretch your legs as explore the hiking trails and climb the steps of the fire tower to see the lay of the land. There are tent and trailer sites available.
